Greetings from Nairobi, Kenya! The group arrived in Kenya late tuesday night intact and in good spirits. After meeting two members of the group in Washington DC because of canceled flights and delays, we headed off to Brussels and then on to Nairobi. After sleeping in for a little bit, the group headed of to the Nairobi National Museum to begin to explore the history of Kenya and the culture of the Masai and Samburu people. After lunch at the Museum, we traveled across town to a giraffe sanctuary. Needless to say, all the members of the group had a great time feeding, petting and even "kissing" the giraffes. We are all safe and thankful to be in the hands of our wonderful Kenyan hosts.
